Folder Actions for Windows will enable you to perform actions on files immediately after they were dropped in a folder. The following actions are available: show a new file alert, copy or move files, convert image files, convert audio files, convert video files, compress or decompress files, perform user-defined action. User-defined action is the most powerful feature. It will allow you to implement virtually any file processing using Windows batch (.bat) files. For example, it is possible to convert PDF to JPG using Ghostscript etc.
